Hi, I’m Jillian!
I am a New York City-based creative strategist with nearly a decade of experience building high-impact branded and editorial content campaigns.
Currently, I am a Senior Strategist within The New York Times’ T Brand Studio.
About Me
Born and raised in the coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina, I moved to NYC to attend New York University in 2013. During my time in college, my first professional experiences were internships within NBC Universal’s Advertising department and VICE Media’s TV Production team. I also worked at Metrograph—an independent theater on the Lower East Side, where my passion for film and video blossomed.
After graduating with a degree in Marketing & Journalism, I accepted a position on the Brand Strategy team at Tastemade, a global media company with a culinary and lifestyle focus.
After nearly five years working my way from coordinator to Brand Strategist, I departed to shift into an editorial programming role at Condé Nast. There, I managed video operations across many of their iconic publications, including Bon Appétit, Architectural Digest, Condé Nast Traveler, and Glamour.
I then stepped into the role of Senior Manager of Brand Strategy at Food52, Schoolhouse & Dansk, where I led the creative strategy for all branded content campaigns nationwide.
Today, I am at The New York Times, leading strategy for custom branded campaigns within T Brand Studio.
My career is defined by a passion for lifestyle media and an expertise in the digital landscape. Whether scaling a culinary content campaign, or launching a home design series, my goal is always to create authentic content and experiences that genuinely resonate with viewers.
